The primary goal of Ederfil Becker's Strategic Management is to meet the current and future needs and expectations of its customers and other interested parties in a timely manner, while adhering to the general guidelines of its ethical and socially responsible management model and establishing a dynamic of continuous improvement of its activities, products, and services in the Organization's overall context, and thus achieving an internationally recognised position.

To this end, Ederfil Becker has developed and implemented a Management System that integrates:

Ederfil Becker, through its Management System, is committed to:

  • Implementing the policy and integrating it into business operations. Adopting and disseminating the objectives that emanate from this Company policy.
  • Being transparent, in order to convey and build trust and credibility.
  • Implementing and promoting transparency of information on EDERFIL BECKER's environmental performance for interested parties.
  • Promoting and ensuring ethical and transparent behaviour in all decisions through the defined values, complying with its code of conduct at all times and promoting social and fiscal responsibility and commitment to human rights. Reporting and rejecting any irregularities that may occur, including corruption and bribery.
  • Recognizing the value of individuals and their working conditions for the company's own development and success.
  • Involving the entire Organization in the management of EDERFIL BECKER, which implies participation at all levels. Each employee is responsible for complying with the policies, regulations and procedures and requirements of the Management System according to what applies to their job.
  • Providing the necessary means and resources to achieve the involvement of its employees in the development and implementation of the System.
  • Continuous improvement: continuously identifying opportunities and preventing risks of system deviations, systematically using continuous improvement management tools in preventive action, prioritizing the participation of all employees.
  • Taking all the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the availability, confidentiality and integrity of the information handled, as well as preventing, managing and resolving incidents that may affect its security, keeping access to information and the means for its treatment restricted and controlled.
  • Integrating preventive activity into the management of the company (activities and decisions in both technical processes and work organisation at all levels of the company)
  • Ensuring the consultation and participation of workers in decisions affecting their working conditions.
  • Protecting the environment by establishing action guidelines to prevent pollution, the sustainable use of resources, energy management and the fight against climate change, being aware of and consistent with all the activities, products and services in which Ederfil Becker may influence and can cause an impact on the environment.
  • Informing and training employees about the repercussions that different industrial activities and processes can have on their health and the environment, both in normal and extraordinary operations.
  • Complying with the legal requirements that apply and with other requirements to which the organization subscribes.

This policy and general objectives are included and converted into annual improvement policies in the EDERFIL BECKER Management Plan, drawn up by the Management and approved by the Advisory Council of the Cooperative. The management of EDERFIL BECKER relies on the cooperation of its employees in order to achieve the commitments undertaken by the company.
